Project experience

The record, not the anecdote.

Client work is confidential, so this page does not carry case studies. What it carries instead is the actual shape of the workload — how many projects, of what kind, where — taken straight from the system that runs them.

Delivery record

Every project, every year, counted.

Most engineering websites ask you to take their experience on faith. This is the volume AB has actually carried since 2019 — every project logged, every year.

1,096 projects logged in 2025, the most recent complete year
851 average per year across the last 5 complete years (2021 onward)
6,886 projects logged in total since 2019
981 logged so far in 2026, with the year still running

Where it was

In Florida the work concentrates around Miami-Dade, Orange, Broward, Palm Beach, Brevard and Seminole, and reaches well beyond them.

Counties are named at county level only. Individual project locations are not published.

AB also takes work in Georgia and Illinois.

How to read these figures

A project here is a logged engagement. Some are multi-month network builds; many are single-scope investigations, locates or relocations that close in days. The count measures throughput, not equivalence.
The headline figure and the yearly average use complete calendar years only. The year in progress is shown separately and labelled as such, and the page states the date the figures were last verified.

Why it is published this way

Aggregate counts can be published honestly. Client names, project names, addresses, purchase orders, values and outcomes cannot — they belong to the clients. Holding that line is what makes the rest of the page publishable at all.
When a client approves a case study, it will appear here with their name on it and figures they have agreed to. Nothing on this page is waiting on that.

Capabilities

The kinds of work behind the numbers.

Described generically, because the specifics belong to the clients who commissioned them.

FTTH and FTTx build

Route design, drafting and permitting for fiber-to-the-home and related access architectures — feeder, distribution, splitter placement and drop strategy — from feasibility through construction detail.

Cable and hybrid plant

Node splits, segmentation and plant extensions on existing coaxial and hybrid networks, where the design has to work around what is already in the ground and on the pole.

Enterprise and building connections

Dedicated route design into commercial premises, including the entry, crossing and permitting considerations that usually govern the schedule.

Relocations and utility-driven moves

Re-engineering existing plant around road widening, utility works and third-party programmes, where the driver’s timetable is not ours.

Overbuilds and plant extensions

Adding capacity along existing routes, where the survey has to establish what is really on the pole before anything is designed.

Right-of-way work zones

Traffic control design for telecom work in and around public roads, produced with the permit package it is submitted alongside.

Investigation, locates and closeout

Short-cycle field and documentation scopes: investigations, sonde and locate work, maintenance packages and as-built record sets.
